LET’S THE AUTHORITIES IN THE FIELD DEFINE SPIRIT COMMUNICATION FOR US
… A human instrument, a medium or channel, is used by discarnate spirit personalities for presenting verifable or non-verifable information. During spirit communication session spirit may cause a wide range of so-called paranormal activities by channeling various types of energy. Sometimes spirit communicators manifest themselves for objective examination and identification. Obviously, spirit communication involves cooperation between medium on earth and spirit communicator from the other side.
Mediumship contains two basic types:
• Mental Mediumship
• Physical Mediumship
Mental mediumship relates information mostly through the mental telepathy—via thought without using any of the five physical senses. Mental mediumship takes place within the consciousness of the medium. The results are expressed verbally or in written words.
In a demonstration of mental mediumship, the medium receives information under various states of control. The medium hears, sees, and feels what the spirit communicators are relating, and tries to forward it with minimum personal influence and prejudice to the recipient, the sitter. In the photo we see Estelle Roberts (1889-1970), one of the Britain’s most gifted 20th century mediums. The American trance medium Arthur Hakalani, through Estelle Roberts, brought forth astounding interpretations of some Biblical passages and cleansing exercises that sure heal! Physical mediumship involves the transformation of physical systems and energies. The spirit operators, in this case, are causing something to happen upon the Earth plane. What it is that actually happens varies with the style of mediumship involved, but the results can be seen and heard by others.
Numerous subtypes of mediumship include automatic writing, inspirational writing, channeling visual images, poetry and music.
One of the most mysterious types of mediumship is trance mediumship, worth of special posts and pages. Much research has been conducted around the language patterns of dialogue exhibited during trance communication. There is very often a broken speech pattern, a reversal of sentence structure, and an overall change in grammar usage. This is very evident in the Cayce readings, the Seth material, in Eileen Garrett’s trance communications.

Looking for help or guidance, ever since I was a child I have been, how to say, “visited”, always had the idea that this was a bad thing on my life because used to get very afraid, I was a child, think that because of the fear my brain blocked what I was able to see and now I just feel the presence but can neither see or hear; now I think that because of this fear I’m not fulfilling the purpose of that gift. Still there is fear, but how could I manage this?
